Nic Bunting Computers believes that there are better ways than paying by the hour for a problem fix you don't necessarily understand (or possibly even care about understanding) by calling in the first person you find on Google or in the local newspaper or Yellow Pages. Without industry certifications as credentials it's also quite likely the person you call in to repair the problem might also not necessarily understand it either! Paying an hourly rate in these circumstances might what they really care about though. They have no real incentive to be good - they can take as long as they like!
